The Lodging Resource Newsletter, Issue #10, February 2012

Hello again Lovely Innkeepers!  Happy Valentine’s Day!

A great quote from

“Why do people go to a B&B, instead of a hotel? It’s a question he has often been asked. He answers it with a simple example. “A hotelkeeper buys his orange juice at the wholesalers; a B&B-owner presses his own oranges. A hotelkeeper doesn’t make time for that, a good B&B host or hostess does. That is the big difference.”

Pinterest seems to be a hot network to be on and many innkeepers are jumping on board. It’s to early to tell whether it’s here to stay, but in the interim it’s a great place to poke around for ideas and especially for breakfast ideas!

If anyone is going to be at the Midatlantic Innkeeper Conference, I hope we will get a chance to say hi. I’m be giving some sessions there.
